Samuel Andrew Malin of Hailes, Baron of Hailes (born September 1963)[1] is a Canadian-British businessman billionaire and noble Lord in the Baronage of Scotland due to a purchase of a 13th century castle in Scotland coming with the Lordship of Hailes, he resides in Madagascar and the United Kingdom.
He was a supposedly investor and president of Burke's Peerage in 2017 but there is no proof of directorship or ownership on companies house only Tatler press articles.[2][3]
Lord of Hailes made his fortune in oil and gas.[4][5]
He is married to the singer Irene Major, Lady Hailes and has 9 children.[6]
The couple appears on a Channel 5 tv series Britain's Flashiest Families.[7]
The family seat is Ingress Abbey.[6]
