Remi Savage (born 26 October 2001) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship.[1]

Career[edit]

Born in Liverpool, Savage came through the youth ranks at Liverpool[2], making his debut for the U21s side in a 5–2 away loss to Accrington Stanley in the EFL Trophy[3], and winning the FA Youth Cup, but failing to break into the first team before signing for Newcastle United in July 2021.[4] Savage made his debut for The Toon in a 3–0 away loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup[5], again failing to break into the first team.

On 25 January 2024, Savage moved to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a permanent deal[6][7], making his debut two days later in a 3–2 away win over league leaders, Raith Rovers[8] before netting his first senior goal in a 3–3 home draw with Partick Thistle.[9]
