Spectra Confectionery Ltd is a family-owned, and operated confectionery business based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. The company manufactures sprinkles, sugar shapes, candy-coated chocolate, nonpareils, sugar crystals, and custom-panned products sold to distributors, bakeries, ice cream, and snack food companies.[1]

History[edit]

In 1977, Vasilios opened his first confectionery manufacturing company Alpha Candies Limited located in North York, Ontario Canada. By 1986 Alpha Candies expanded into a larger building in Woodbridge Ontario. Two years later the business was sold to a Canadian Investment Group. In 1996, Vasilios began Spectra Confectionery Ltd in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. His wife and sons later joined the company.[1]
